Estabilished in 2018, Nuvilab is a leading food tech startup that develops nutritional benefit and eco-friendly services through food data obtained by AI scan technology in the world. Nuvilab won two awards at CES 2021 (Healthcare, Sustainability) and this year we completed a series A investment worth $8million.
We provide our solution to over 70 locations, canteens of big corporates like SKT, Samsung Electronics, Naver, Kakao, and those of government offices, schools, kindergartens, in Korea. Also, we are partnering and looking to collaborate with many global corporations,Nestlé, MS, Sodexo. Participating in CES 2022, we received high interest from many other global companies, and Compass group, one of the biggest food service companies in the world, discovered our solutions at CES 2022 and proposed to install our service at the Microsoft headquarters in Seattle.

Nuvilab AI food scanner provides innovative benefits to humans and the environment by measuring the type and amount of food of a given plate. Our patented technologies accurately screen and collect data on how much and what kinds of food were served, consumed, and disposed of.
Furthermore, it automatically generates a personal digital food diary that helps individuals manage their eating habits through food data-based analysis. We also provide a solution of food waste reduction and generate an objective statistic of a greenhouse gas emission reduction by using our AI food scanner.
1) Eco cafeteria operation service
Nuvilab AI food scanner analyzes the amount of over-prepped food and leftovers in restaurants or company cafeterias. By forecasting the demand and supply of food, service managers can reduce food waste and increase customer satisfaction by focusing on the customer’s preferred menu.
2) Digital food diary solution
Through analyzing individual dietary data such as calorie intake, fat, sugar and sodium, we provide individuals with a dietary solution that focuses on their eating habits. This is especially useful for patients, growing children, the elderly, and athletes who need carefully managed dietary plan. The recommended dietary plans provided by Nuvilab lets users enjoy a balanced and healthy diet throughout their daily life as well as manage chronic diseases.
